The VKB Group, an agricultural company engaged in farming, processing and logistics, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented team player to join its silo operations as a Grain Grader Assistant. The role is responsible for overseeing the sample-taking process, ensuring that grain grading is done in accordance with statutory requirements and company procedures, and supporting operational efficiency within the silo environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct grain grading in accordance with statutory and VKB procedures
• Oversee and execute grain intake and dispatch administration
• Perform general job-related admin functions
• Handle and resolve grading-related disputes
• Successfully complete all compulsory grain-related training courses
• Support logistical and operational efficiency at the silo

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification
• Experience in the agriculture sector will be advantageous
• Completion of all relevant grain grading courses through in-service training
• Computer literate with strong administrative background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
